The programme is designed to introduce students initially to the broad field of business and management, before specialising in international business.

Entry requirements

Applicants require the equivalent of a UK 1st or upper 2nd Class Honours degree. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require an IELTS score of 7.0 overall (with no element under 6.0) or equivalent.

Course modules

Core modules: Business economics and accounting; organisational behaviour; strategy; strategic marketing management; global business; global marketing; research methods. Elective modules include: Business ethics 1 (ethical leadership); business ethics 2 (society and sustainability); competitive strategies and organisational fitness; corporate governance; East Asian business and management; financial management; human resource development; innovation and technology management; new venture creation; employee relations.

Assessment methods

Assessment is via exams and dissertation and or project report.
