Our one year, full time MSc in Management programmes are designed to provide you with the tools, techniques and knowledge to succeed in business. Across all sectors and at all levels of business, financial management is fundamental to the success of organisations. By studying our MSc Management (Finance), you will build your knowledge and expertise in this area, giving you a strong platform from which to launch a career in management with a specific financial focus.

Entry requirements

Applicants require the equivalent of a UK 1st or upper 2nd Class Honours degree. Applicants whose first language is not English require an IELTS score of 7.0 overall (with no element under 6.0), or equivalent.

Course modules

Core modules: business economics and accounting; organisational behaviour; strategy; fundamentals of finance; financial management; corporate finance for managers; research methods. You also choose two further modules from a selection which varies from year to year but in the past has included: corporate governance, decision making and business modelling, global business, east Asian business and management and mergers and acquisitions.

Assessment methods

You are assessed partly by a dissertation or business project.
