Research is organised around 5 broad themes. These themes are: clinical and health services; the life sciences and the life cycle; medical humanities; public policy, health and well-being; medical education.
Bachelor degree at 2.1 Honours equivalent or better Master's; English language requirements include an overall band score of at least 7.0 in the IELTS test (with no element below 6.0) or at least 102 in the TOEFL iBT (Internet Based Test) (with no element under 23), achieved within 2 years of the programme start date.
Assessment is by a thesis of up to 60,000 words by oral viva.
