This course is designed for recent Biology graduates who wish to pursue a research career in industry or academia, as well for those who are already working within research. The programme encourages applications from high quality and motivated biology graduates who have a keen interest in developing their knowledge, expertise and research skills.
2.1 honours degree in a biological discipline. To complete a field-based project candidates must have a full driving licence. Overseas applicants will be considered on an individual basis and will be expected to demonstrate IELTS 7.0 or equivalent. Applicants who do not meet the entry criteria but believe they can provide evidence of experience in lieu of this, should contact the programme leader. For example, graduates with a 2.2 Honours degree in Biology but with subsequent experience working within a research environment. As part of the selection process, applicants should produce a short research proposal and attend an interview.
