Medical Leadership

This course is a collaborative programme between Edge Hill University and the Royal College of Physicians. If you are a senior registrar, new consultant or general practitioner seeking to take greater responsibility within your organisation, this programme will equip you with the knowledge and skills required to enable you to focus upon your own role as a leader and successfully plan and implement change in practice.

Entry requirements

The normal minimum requirement is an undergraduate medical degree. You should be a doctor practising at grade ST3 or higher (or equivalent). You should also be registered as a professional with the General Medical Council.

Modules: planning and managing change for medical leaders; implementing change in practice for medical leaders; medical leadership.
