Property and Construction Management

Property and construction play a key role in the structure of our society and economy. The construction industry requires managers who can meet the growing challenges of market forces, volatile economies, new technologies and an ever increasing global sustainability agenda. Gain a solid foundation in construction management, procurement strategy and building cost management and learn about the wider economic and legal frameworks of the construction industry through a well-balanced blend of formal presentations, guest lectures and workshops.

Entry requirements

The entry requirement for this course is a Bachelor (Honours) degree at a 2.2 or above. We look for applicants to have a background in any discipline in order to be eligible for the programme. We may also consider applicants who have completed a Bachelor (ordinary) degree if you have sufficient relevant work experience within the industry. There may also be an additional essay requirement if you apply with less than an Honours degree, this would be confirmed on submission of the application to the admissions team.

Modules include: Strategic management (built environment and engineering); law and administration property and construction; building economics; production management; procurement strategy; sustainable urban property development; thesis.
