International Marketing

This course introduces students to the principles of marketing, and its practice in a global environment. Students develop organisational and business skills as well as an understanding of strategic marketing, brand management theories, intercultural communication, and the ability to develop marketing plans. Applicants also gain transferable skills, such as formulating policy and project management, research, time management and presentation methods.

Entry requirements

Bachelor (Honours) degree at 2.2 or above. We look for applicants to have a background in any discipline in order to be eligible for the programme. We may also consider lesser qualifications if you have sufficient relevant work experience within the industry.

Course modules

Trimester 1: Principles and practices of marketing, intercultural business communication, consumer behaviour. Trimester 2: Strategic brand management, global marketing; plus either direct and digital marketing, case studies in international tourism, or international festival and event management. Trimester 3: Dissertation.
