International Commercial Law
This programme provides an opportunity to study at an advanced level a wide range of subjects related to international commercial law from a broad political and economic context, and to develop various essential skills required for a career in legal profession, international business, national or international governmental bodies or academic research in an internationally renowned institution located in an extraordinarily beautiful and historical city.
Honours degree at 2.2 or above. We look for applicants to have either a background in law or a degree with a substantial law component in order to be eligible for the programme. If an applicant has not previously studies law, they will be required to undertake the �Legal Skills and Research� module as a compulsory part of their programme. We may also consider lesser qualifications if you have sufficient relevant work experience within the industry.
Trimester 1: legal skills and research methods (compulsory for non-law entrants and international students); international economic law; human rights aspects of international business; dispute resolution methods. Trimester 2: contemporary issues in business law; international sports and entertainment law; ethics and corporate governance; principles of financial regulation; contemporary issues in intellectual property. Trimester 3: dissertation.
