Effective human resource management is seen as being increasingly important in achieving business success and positively influencing the performance and wellbeing of employees. The course aims to make a significant contribution to people management practice and develop a deep understanding of the changing role of HRM in the development and implementation of employment policies and procedures.
Bachelor (Honours) degree at 2.2 or above. We look for applicants to have a background in any discipline in order to be eligible for the programme. We may also consider lesser qualifications if you have sufficient relevant work experience within the industry.
Trimester 1: People and organisational development; the organisational context of HR; employment law. Trimester 2: Employee resourcing, learning and development, labour relations, research skills and professional development (including 15 day work placement). Trimester 3: Dissertation.
