Tourism and Hospitality Management
The course aims to equip students with the knowledge required to successfully operate an international tourism business while integrating hospitality management skills. Developing organisational and business management skills that are relevant to hospitality and tourism organisations; through lectures, guest speakers and case studies; you will develop an advanced understanding of the issues and concepts involved in creating successful hospitality and tourism experiences. Learn broad skills, such as formulating policy and planning for the future, as well as developing abilities in research, time management and presentation methods.
Bachelor (Honours) degree at 2.2 or above. We look for applicants to have a background in any discipline in order to be eligible for the programme.
Trimester 1: Management of hospitality operations; tourism marketing; research methods; option. Trimester 2: Contemporary issues in hospitality management, experience and design management; option; research methods. Trimester 3: dissertation.
