This course aims to equip students with the knowledge required to successfully market tourism destinations and products. Developing organisational and business skills that focus on the marketing aspects and implications of tourism. Through lectures, guest speakers and case studies, you will develop an advanced understanding of the issues and concepts involved in marketing tourism products and experiences. Learning n broad skills, such as formulating policy and planning for the future, as well as developing your abilities in research, time management and presentation methods.
Honours degree in any discipline; exceptionally, alternative qualification with approriate life and work experience or other qualifications are considered; IELTS 6.0 or equivalent for those whose 1st language is not English.
Trimester 1: Managing heritage tourism; tourism marketing; Option. Trimester 2: Direct and digital marketing; experience design and managment; Option Research Methods is studied over Trimesters 1 and 2. Trimester 3: Dissertation.
