International Marketing with Tourism and Events

This course explores the practice of marketing in a global environment; the course also allows students to specialise in tourism and events by studying additional modules. Students develop organisational and business skills as well as an understanding of strategic marketing, brand management theories, intercultural communication, and the ability to develop marketing plans.

Entry requirements

Bachelor (Honours) degree at 2.2 or above. We look for applicants to have a background in any discipline in order to be eligible for the programme. We may also consider lesser qualifications if you have sufficient relevant work experience within the industry.

Course modules

Trimester 1: Principles and practice of marketing, intercultural business communication, tourism concepts and issues. Trimester 2: Strategic brand management, global marketing, research methods plus 1 optional tourism and events module. Trimester 3: Dissertation.
