A Bachelor's degree (Honours preferred) at a 2.1 level or equivalent; encouraged that candidates should have at least 1 year of work experience. Fluency in English is necessary; where English is not the native language: IELTS: 7; or TOEFL written test: 600; or TOEFL computer-based: 250; non-native English speakers who have previously studied or worked for more than 2 years in an English-speaking country are exempt from providing a TOEFL or IELTs score but will be assessed at interview.
Modules include: London: macroeconomics; geopolitical issues; problem solving and decision making (psdm); business statistics; microeconomics; principles of finance; corporate and business strategy; oil and gas business; electricity and renewables markets; research methods; operations and supply chain management; energy trading game; managing an organisation; business simulation game; energy markets and other commodities; energy policy; energy project financing and evaluation. Paris: energy risk management: risk assessment and hedging; m and a in the energy industry; research and development and innovation management in energy; environmental management and CSR in an energy firm; energy risk management: objectives, methods and instruments; energy law. Brazil or USA: seminar.
