International Fashion Marketing

The course enables students to develop independent, inquiring and creative approaches to strategic fashion marketing issues and problems; develops an ability to analyse relevant academic theories and apply models, tools and techniques to real fashion marketing situations. Focus on core concepts and principles of fashion marketing coupled with contemporary international issues, integrated fashion communications, global marketing and brand management.

Course modules

Modules include: Strategic decisions in the international fashion marketplace; consumer led fashion marketing; digital fashion branding and delivery; contemporary issues of business and society; fashion buying; personal and professional development; research methods; dissertation.

Assessment methods

Assessment strategies aim to test subject knowledge, independent thought and skills acquisition. They are balanced in accordance with the learning outcomes of each module and include examinations, essays and reports. During the course of the year, students will also undertake a major research dissertation on a fashion marketing topic of their choice.

Sponsorship information

Some students are eligible for tuition fee support. The fees and financial support that are relevant to you depend on where you lived before coming to university. Scholarships of £1,000 are available to all international students; there are no special application forms for scholarships and decisions will be made on the basis of the information provided with the application forms.
