Environmental Management

The environmental impact assessment of oil and gas exploration, production and distribution is absolutely crucial. Mistakes of the past which has left disastrous consequences such as ground water pollution, contaminated land, health and social problems, must not be repeated. This programme produces graduates that are aware of these problems, are capable of analysing the problems and offering solutions taking into account the local circumstances.

Entry requirements

MSc: BSc Honours 2.2 or above in an appropriate area. This includes any energy related degree, Environmental Science, Development Planning, Human Settlement Planning, Geology, Environmental Management, Geography, Chemical Engineering, Soil & Water Engineering, Zoology, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Economics. All entry requirements listed here should be used as a guide and represent the minimum required to be considered for entry. Applicants who are made a conditional offer of a place may be asked to achieve more than is stated.

Sponsorship information

Some students are eligible for tuition fee support. The fees and financial support that are relevant to you depend on where you lived before coming to university Scholarships of £1,600 are available to all international students; there are no special application forms for scholarships and decisions are made on the basis of the information provided with the application forms.
