This qualification is flexible, consisting of examinations, ethics and experience. There is a wide range of opportunities available to ACCA members in the business world. They can move into general management in the public and private sectors and may have opportunities to specialise in audit, taxation or information technology. This programme aims to be flexible to suit student and employer needs, and thus a range of day release, afternoon, evening and revision courses are offered.
Students must register with the University to study this course; they must also register with ACCA to sit the exams. Students with HNDs, HNCs or recognised degrees are given exemptions which vary according to the subjects studied. Students whose 1st language is not English will normally be required to hold the equivalent of an academic IELTS score of 6.0 with no element less than 5.5.
Professional level modules include: Governance, risk and ethics; corporate reporting; business analysis 1; business analysis 2; advanced performance management; advanced audit and assurance.
