Normally a UK 2.2 Honours or equivalent in a relevant subject. (Relevant degrees include: Risk management; insurance; financial services; actuarial studies; business; management; marketing; economics; finance; accounting; mathematics; health and safety; health; science; engineering; risk management) If you do not have the necessary formal entry qualifications, the University's flexible entry policy considers credit transfer and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), including work-based experience and credits from recognised professional bodies. Students whose 1st language is not English require an Academic IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent) is required, with no element less than 5.5.
Modules include: Enterprise risk and modelling; global perspectives on risk; risk financing and insurance; business continuity and crisis management; ethics and corporate governance; personal and professional development; research methods; dissertation.
Assessment is continuous; a combination of formative and summative assessment and by a variety of methods including: Case studies, portfolios, essays and reports
