The programme will provide, through a research framework, experience managers and other professional with an opportunity to acquire and apply to organisational settings, a wide-ranging set of analytical tools, research methods and underpinning theories which will make a meaningful contribution to the field of business and management, and make an impact on management practice.
1st class or 2.1 Honours degree in a relevant field and normally a minimum 5 years� work experience in a relevant field. If you do not have the necessary formal entry qualifications, the University's flexible entry policy considers credit transfer and Recognition of Prior Learning, including work-based experience and credits from recognised professional bodies. Students whose 1st language is not English require an IELTS 6.5 (or equivalent) with no element less than 6.0.
Modules include: Professional development; professional business/management development; independent and negotiated study; research methods; project design, development and management.
Assessment methods include coursework and a final Doctoral Thesis assessed by thesis submission and viva voce.
