International Multimedia Communication
This programme equips students with a sound knowledge of the industry, the latest academic thinking and theory, and the practical skills pertinent to multimedia communications. Through a range of interactive learning experiences such as workshops, field visits and masterclasses, students improve their written, audio and video communication skills, increase their knowledge of digital technologies, and gain 'hands-on' experience with filming, editing and recording equipment.
Normally a UK Honours degree 2.2 (or equivalent). For applicants who do not have the necessary formal entry qualifications, the University's flexible entry policy considers credit transfer and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), including work-based experience. Students whose 1st language is not English require an IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent) is required, with no element less than 5.5.
Modules include: Global media and society; digital branding, design and development; multimedia production; contemporary issues; personal and professional development; research methods; dissertation.
