Web Systems Development (.NET)
This course provides candidates who have some experience of software development technologies with the opportunity to develop their careers by enhancing their skills in .NET development; this academic course also provides preparation for Microsoft professional certification in .NET technologies.
UK Honours degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related subject. Candidates with appropriate experience may be considered through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). International students whose 1st language is not English are required to demonstrate evidence of satisfactory competence by completing an IELTS test with a score of at least 6.0 (with no element below 5.5) or by holding another recognised qualification.
Modules include: .NET web application development; .NET enterprise application development; advanced software development and application lifecycle management; project management, research methods and ethics.
Assessment methods used to demonstrate achievement of learning outcomes include: Examinations, coursework, presentations and written reports.
