UK Honours degree 2.2 (or equivalent) in computer science or computer engineering; if entry requirements are not met a place may be offered on the MSc Information Technology programme, subject to availability.
Advanced software development and application lifecycle management; project management; research methods and ethics; mobile and ubiquitous computing; web services and cloud computing; Master's project.
Assessment is used to demonstrate achievement of learning outcomes. Methods of assessment include unseen written examinations, coursework assignments (individual and group-based) and written class tests and/or reports. When assessing the MSc, the project, dissertation and presentation are all expected deliverables.
