UK Honours degree 2.2 in a non-computing or non-computer engineering subject. Candidates with appropriate experience may be considered through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Students whose 1st language is not English require an IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent) with no element below 5.5.
Modules include: Networking and computer technology; project management (software processes and ethics); software development and database systems; web systems development and interaction design; Master's project (Capstone); MSc project.
Assessment methods used to demonstrate achievement of learning outcomes include unseen written examinations, coursework assignments (individual and group-based) and written class tests and/or reports. For the MSc, the project, the dissertation and presentation are all expected as deliverables.
