Big Data Technologies
The programme provides opportunities to investigate and critically appraise methods, techniques and tools for designing, developing and deploying big data technologies and systems. Research techniques and project management relating to big data technologies are integrated through critical research review and toolkit/platform evaluation, and masters dissertation project planning.
UK Honours degree 2.2 (or equivalent) in computing or a related subject. Students whose 1st language is not English require an IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent) with no element below 5.5.
Assessment methods include unseen written examinations, coursework assignments, practical tests and technical reports and a dissertation.
