UK honours degree (or equivalent); in considering an applicant's qualifications, the University's guidelines for flexible entry will be taken into account. Students whose 1st language is not English require an IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent) with no element below 5.5.
Modules include: The principles and theory of public health; public health theory to social action; health economics and development; advanced leadership for health and social care practitioners; evaluating evidence to develop research and inform practice; dissertation.
All modules provide opportunities for you to receive feedback on your academic work. The length and nature of assessments is dependent on module specific learning outcomes. Examples of assessment activities within the programme include written assignments on a given public health perspective, open book examinations, project plans, research proposals and a small scale research study or systematic review.
