The course aims to provide a framework for postgraduate study which offers nurses working in adult acute or critical care environments and those dealing with clients with lifelong illnesses the opportunity to extend their knowledge, skill and understanding for advancing nursing practice and nursing leadership.
An Honours degree however it may be possible for applicants without an honours degree to be admitted onto the programme based on their previous experience and learning; IELTS test with a score of 6.5. TOEFL with an minimu score of 550. Computer based test in English as a Foreign language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 213.
This is a modular programme, each module being individually assessed; a variety of assessment strategies are used within modules, including: reports; projects; literature reviews and essays; a supervised research dissertation is submitted as the final assessment.
