Advanced Practice with Older People
The course provides the opportunity for suitably qualified health care professionals, working within the sphere of Primary care, hospitals and care homes, to advance their professional practice by undertaking postgraduate study; the programme aims to provide a flexible framework within which the student can acquire the knowledge, skills and professional attributes commensurate with undertaking advancing practice roles.
Honours degree or evidence of equivalency based on previous experience and learning; a relevant professional qualification. Applicants will normally be registered health or social care professionals. Applicants may demonstrate equivalence to an Honours degree by crediting their practice experience through the University's procedure for the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
