UK Honours degree 2.2 (or equivalent) in food science or technology/biological sciences. International students whose 1st language is not English require an IELTS test with a score of at least 6.0 (with no single element below 5.5) or another recognised qualification.
Modules include: Food science; research methods for biomedical science, food commodities; food and applied microbiology;chemical and instrumental analysis of food; food toxicology; research project; industrial placement.
Each module is assessed individually by a combination of coursework and formal examinations.
