Biomolecular and Biomedical Sciences
The course content deals with mechanisms of disease development, from the cell and molecular biology of these processes, the pathophysiology and through to the molecular aspects of medicine; the programme maintains an emphasis on, and places importance on laboratory-based practical classes, allowing students to gain exposure to the rigor and demands of scientific investigation throughout
UK Honours degree 2.1 (or equivalent) in a biomedical or biological science discipline. IELTS test with a score of at least 6.0 (with no element below 5.5) or equivalent.
Modules include: Biomolecular studies; research methods for biomedical science; molecular aspects of medicine; cardiovascular disease; research project planning; oncology; cell and molecular biology; biomolecular microbiology; research project.
Each module will be assessed individually by a combination of coursework and formal examination.
