This course is aimed at individuals, managers and professionals who aspire to senior management and leadership positions; it covers the key management concepts of the 21st century including the management of people, leadership, operations and information, accounting and finance, marketing, strategy and managing organisational change and the global economy; the course has a wide focus in which strategic issues are a main driver; it covers both the domestic and global business environments.
An initial degree from an approved degree-awarding body or a non-graduate qualification which Glyndwr University deems of suitable standard for postgraduate study; non-graduates must have held a position of responsibility (relevant to the course) at least for 2 years.
Modules include: Managing resources in a business context; leadership and people management; achieving corporate success; dissertation.
The taught modules are assessed predominantly through individual or group assignments; however, several modules have an examination as part of the assessment procedure; students also submit a dissertation.
