This course will equip students with the knowledge to understand the behaviour of photovoltaic materials, the issues involved in system design and processes and techniques used in manufacture of photovoltaic technologies.
The entry requirements are a 2.1 or above in a related undergraduate science based degree (chemistry, physics, engineering or materials science) or suitable industrial experience.
Modules include: Fundamentals of photovoltaics; processes at interfaces; advanced photovoltaics; advanced materials science; research methods.
Assessment methods include a research project.
