This course is aimed at helping you to enhance the quality of learning, teaching, assessment and evaluation in higher education. The programme of study is ideal for newly-appointed lecturers and researchers with teaching responsibilities. The aims of the course are to ensure that you are promoting a learning environment, applying and adapting theoretical conceptual frameworks in response to the changing context within the higher education sector and that you are able to encourage autonomous learning within the boundaries of professional practice.
An undergraduate degree in your own discipline and access to regular teaching in a higher education institution.
Modules include: Academic practice in higher education; supporting student learning in higher education; assessment and evaluation in higher education.
Assessment is 100% coursework. Students on the course will normally be employed within the HE sector.
