The course enables students to develop their work and explore the subjects wider implications.

Entry requirements

An MA in an appropriate subject; other qualifications may be considered as equivalent.

Course modules

Special interests include: research into innovative contemporary curatorial practices particularly as they reflect upon representations of contemporary visual culture: above all those in which art practice forms a central element; the research project should have a close affinity to the students' continuing interests as a curator; specific curatorial projects should become part of the thesis if they can be shown to be explicitly integral to the research project; students curatorial activities will also explicitly inform their research methodology.

Thesis: including practice; viva voce; or thesis and viva voce.
