Computer Games Art and Design
You should have (or expect to be awarded) an undergraduate degree of at least second class standard in a relevant/related subject or equivalent. You might also be considered if you aren't a graduate or your degree is in an unrelated field, but have relevant experience and can show that you have the ability to work at postgraduate level. In some instances we may ask to see a portfolio of your work. If English isn't your first language, you'll need to meet our English language requirements of IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.5 in the written test and no individual test lower than 6.0).
Introduction to Programming; Physical Computing: Arduino and Related Technologies; Business and Practice; Introduction to Modelling and Animation; Advanced Modelling and Animation; History of Computer Games; Art and Animation; Games Design and Games Analytics. You will also study: Industry Placement or Research Project and Dissertation along with Industry Seminars Series with leading speakers from the games and entertainment industry.
