Students explore new forms of branding via social media, blogging and personal websites, seek alternative ethical and sustainable practices as well as operate in a culturally diverse and globalised world. In addition, entrepreneurial modelling techniques helps them to understand the business of fashion and start-ups. There are 3 core taught courses; a final project and a further combination option courses that can be taken across design, the Institute for Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship (ICCE) and media and communications departments.

Entry requirements

An undergraduate degree in a design-related subject; relevant experience in an area of creative professional practice; a PDF portfolio of practical work or relevant professional experience.

Course modules

Core modules: ethical paradigms; social paradigms; digital paradigms; independent research project; plus optional modules.

Assessment methods

Assessment is through a mix of coursework essays and projects. Blogs; essays; films; presentations and webpages all feature as assessments in this programme.
