Poultry Business Management

This programme is for poultry meat industry employees who wish to increase their competence and capability with respect to business management theory and practice.

Entry requirements

Candidates should possess one of the following: An honours degree in a relevant engineering discipline, with either a 1st or an upper 2nd class honours classification or an equivalent award or A postgraduate diploma in a relevant engineering discipline or an equivalent award.

Broiler production, poultry processing and quality; food business operations management; managing in food businesses: leading and managing people and teams; food business supply chain management; poultry science and public health; research and information skills; agri-food marketing; animal welfare and bioethics; food policy and ethics; food product development; food security and sustainability; principles of finance; food Industry work-based project: food processing, food manufacture or food product development; food industry work-based project: People, leadership and human resource management in food businesses; dissertation (Work-based project).
