Sustainable Agriculture

This course provides students with a background to agriculture and an understanding of the associated sustainability issues.

Entry requirements

Honours degree in agriculture or science required, minimum of a lower 2nd class Honours, or an international equivalent; a relevant UK HND with extensive work experience may also be considered; international students must provide evidence of their English language proficiency: IELTS overall band score of 6.5; TOEFL score of 575 on the (paper-based) or 232 on the (computer-based).

Course modules

Modules: Research methods; business management; farmland conservation policy; farmland conservation management; integrated farm management; soil and water management; organic farming systems; sustainable agricultural systems.

Harper Adams offers a Taught Postgraduate Scholarship; this is a competitive scholarship and awards are made on the basis of the application.
