Plant Pathology

The aim of the course is to provide students with specialized training in plant pathology. The course is underpinned by an extensive programme of agri-environment research and longstanding collaborations with research institutes and other organisations in the UK and overseas.

Entry requirements

An Honours degree (minimum lower 2nd Class) or a good FdSc/HND pass in a relevant subject area together with related industrial or professional experience of at least 2 years. In addition, the suitability of candidates may be assessed by interview, considering reports from referees and by evaluating previous experience.

Research and information skills; advanced research methods; biology, epidemiology of plant pathogens; diagnosis of plant pathogens; research project 1; research project 2.
