Precision Farming

The aim of this course is to provide students with a general understanding of and specialised research training in precision farming. This subject area combines the development of electronic control systems, application technology and the agronomic or livestock advice required to utilise the precisely tailored inputs.

Entry requirements

An honours degree (minimum lower 2nd class) or a good FdSc/HND pass in a relevant subject area together with related industrial or professional experience of at least 2 years. In addition, the suitability of candidates for particular programmes may be assessed by interview, considering reports from referees and by evaluating previous experience
