Vision, Image and Robotics (VIBOT)
UK 1st Class in either electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, mathematics, robotics, physics and industrial engineering; or overseas equivalent; all applicants whose 1st language is not English require TOEFL 550 (computer 213); or IELTS 6.5.
Core units: digital signal processing; software engineering; data mining and machine learning; image compression communication; image processing (VIBOT); research methods critical analysis and project planning; fundamental on robotics; autonomous robots; scene segmentation and interpretation; visual perception; real-time image processing; local culture; shape recognition and statistics; image analysis; infrared imagery; human vision psychophysics; radio-isotopic imagery; X and ultrasound imagery; biological basis of medical imaging; local culture.
