Environmental Analysis and Assessment
The programme is practically-orientated and aims to equip students with the theoretical and practical skills to enter a laboratory-based environment undertaking work in environmental analysis, or to continue to a PhD degree.
For MSc level entry applicants must have a minimum of 2.2 Honours degree or equivalent academic qualification in cognate and semi-cognate subject area. For post graduate Diploma level entry applicants must have a 3rd class Honours degree in a cognate or semi-cognate subject area plus 2 years of relevant experience at an appropriate level completed post qualification; cognate or semi-cognate ordinary degree plus 3-4 years of relevant experience at an appropriate level following graduation. The minimum requirement for English language is IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
Environmental sampling and analysis; practical environmental sampling and analysis; environmental toxicology; practical environmental toxicology; research project and dissertation.
A limited number of scholarships may be available on a competitive basis.
