Strategic Project Management (European Masters)
The programme has been developed around 3 interconnected themes: strategy, control and integration, which reflect the core strengths of each university; study period 1 at Heriot Watt University provides a strategic underpinning to project planning; strategy formulation and implementation in organisations; study period 2 at Politecnico di Milano focuses on the function, purpose, creation and management of appropriate control mechanisms in strategic projects; in study period 3 at USBE, Umea School of Business, students embed their learning using an integrated and research-based approach to strategic thinking and project management through 2 integrated modules and a Master's level thesis.
Bachelor degree (or equivalent academic degree) of minimum 3 year duration and 180 ECTS credits in a cognate discipline; considerable relevant experience along with a high quality bachelor degree in a semi-cognate discipline (with at least 60 ECTS credits in cognate subjects) may also be considered; IELTS 6.5 for those whose 1st language is not English.
