International Marketing Management with Tourism

Tourism and heritage have come to be understood internationally as important economic sectors in their own right. There are also vital resources for nations, regions and cities seeking to stimulate tourism, attract inward investment and promote social cohesion.

Entry requirements

A good Honours degree (1st or 2nd Class) or its non-UK equivalent in a relevant subject from a recognised British or overseas university. If English is not the applicants 1st language, the minimum requirement for English language is IELTS 6.5 (or equivalent) with no component lower than 6.0.

Course modules

Semester 1: strategic marketing; contemporary consumers; marketing logistics; global heritage.
Semester 2: branding and communications; research philiosophy and practice; issues and trends in tourism. Choose one from: advances in digital marketing; international trade law; managing diversity in business; sustainable marketing.

Assessment methods

The MSc dissertation is then undertaken between May - August.
