Capital Markets, Regulation and Compliance
The course covers a range of UK, European and international issues. Study focuses on building expertise in regulation and compliance of capital markets through dedicated practical courses and economic functioning of markets and instruments, market mechanics and dealing knowledge.
Minimum 2.1 Honours degree or equivalent from an overseas institution in any discipline; applicants must have a satisfactory existing level of numeracy; for students whose 1st language is not English an IELTS score of 7.0 with no less than 6.0 in each individual components is required.
Modules include: risk management in financial services; financial markets; securites, futures and options; fixed income and equity investments; introductory quantitative methods for finance; governance and compliance in financial services.
