Financial Risk Management
This course offers exemption from the professional examinations of the Professional Risk Manager�s International Association (PRMIA), including an accelerated route to their PRM professional certification. The financial system has undergone major restructuring in preparation for the new regulatory frameworks, affecting existing roles and creating different skillset requirements within risk management divisions of financial institutions. The programme is tailored to the needs of the rapidly changing financial markets, providing graduates with an insight into the new innovations in the area of risk management
Minimum 2.1 Honours degree or equivalent from an overseas institution in any discipline; applicants must have a satisfactory existing level of numeracy; GMAT may be required; for students whose 1st language is not English an IELTS score of 7.0 with no less than 6.0 in each individual components is required.
Modules include: quantitative methods for finance; financial markets; securities, futures and options; fixed income and equity investments; market risk; financial instruments; credit risk.
