Entrepreneurship and Financing
Students on this course develop the ability to apply knowledge and understanding of entrepreneurship and management to complex issues, both systematically and creatively, to improve entrepreneurship and management performance.
Upper 2nd Class Honours degree, or the equivalent in 1 of the following areas of study business and finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, statistics, sciences or engineering. Students whose 1st language is not English require an IELTS score of 7.0 overall, with at least 6.0 in each individual component.
Modules include: practice of entrepreneurship; global entrepreneurial management; study and research skills: sources, methods and practice; advances in entrepreneurial theory and practice; entrepreneurship project; financing for entrepreneurship; strategic planning and budgeting; venture capital.
Assessment is based on individual and group projects, exams and an applied project.
