This programme is designed for students from or considering entering a business environment. The course provides a background in economics; entrepreneurship and management.

Entry requirements

A minimum of 5 years� relevant postgraduate work experience; A First or Second Class Honours degree (or international equivalent) from a recognised university, or a recognised professional qualification. English Language Proficiency: GCSE, IGCSE. GCE 'O' Level English or equivalent at grade B or above; Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) at grade B or above; IELTS (academic): minimum overall score of 7.0 with a minimum score of 6.5 in writing and speaking; International Baccalaureate (IB) English at grade 5 or above.

Course modules

Modules include: Corporate finance; financial and management accounting; global macroeconomics; managerial economics; marketing management; organisational behaviour; strategy. Electives may include: innovation and entrepreneurship: design management; managing and valuing intellectual property.; finance: advanced company valuation; advanced corporate finance; behavioural finance; derivatives; private equity finance; risk management; venture capital finance; marketing: brand management; consumer behaviour; international business; pricing strategies and policies; social media; supply chain management; strategic management: breakout strategy; business strategy, corporate responsibility and sustainability; globalisation - challenges and opportunities; leadership; managing negotiations; managing organisational change; mergers and acquisitions; sector-specific: entrepreneurship in renewable energy; high-tech strategy; management challenges in healthcare; managing infrastructure projects; strategic consulting skills.

Assessment methods

Assessment is based on a mixture of exams, group projects, assignments and a final project.
