Our Executive MBA is designed for leaders in a technology-driven world. The 23 month, part-time programme based in London, is a personalised, high-touch programme. It will give you a thorough knowledge of essential business disciplines, opportunities to specialise in your areas of expertise and experiences to develop your global perspective on business.

Blending face to face teaching and online collaboration; the EMBA schedule is highly compatible with busy careers. The combination of core modules, electives, leadership coaching, international residencies and a final report will help you progress further in your career as a world class business leader.

Entry requirements

The Executive MBA programme is ideal for candidates in a senior role who have a clear path to accelerate their career, and the support of their employer in achieving these aims. Employer support may involve full or partial funding, provision of study leave and the opportunity for you to apply your EMBA learning within your company.

To apply for the programme you will normally need a minimum 10 years’ continuous, relevant full-time work experience after graduating – though the current class average is 13 years. You are also expected to have demonstrable leadership skills and typically five or more years of managerial experience.

All applications to the Executive MBA are considered on their individual merits. We look for a combination of academic ability, work experience and professional status. To be eligible to apply for the programme you would normally have:

  • 10 years' relevant postgraduate work experience, of which at least five should be management experience
  • At least a Lower Second Class Honours degree OR international equivalent OR recognised professional qualification
  • English language test results (if applicable)

Course modules

Modules include: Corporate finance; financial and management accounting; global macroeconomics; managerial economics; marketing management; organisational behaviour; strategy.

Electives may include: innovation and entrepreneurship: design management; managing and valuing intellectual property.; finance: advanced company valuation; advanced corporate finance; behavioural finance; derivatives; private equity finance; risk management; venture capital finance; marketing: brand management; consumer behaviour; international business; pricing strategies and policies; social media; supply chain management; strategic management: breakout strategy; business strategy, corporate responsibility and sustainability; globalisation - challenges and opportunities; leadership; managing negotiations; managing organisational change; mergers and acquisitions; sector-specific: entrepreneurship in renewable energy; high-tech strategy; management challenges in healthcare; managing infrastructure projects; strategic consulting skills.

Assessment methods

Assessment is based on a mixture of exams, group projects, assignments and a final project.
