This course provides broad research training in practical in vivo functional biology for those wishing to undertake further research training at PhD level; the skills acquired is also of value for those wishing to pursue a career in industrial drug development.
A UK Honours degree (minimum 2.1) in a science subject or overseas equivalent.
Modules include: Cell and molecular biology; genetics; neuropathology; imaging.
Assessment is based on 3 mini-dissertations on set topics covering all aspects of neuroscience.
