Integrated Crop Pest and Disease Management
The course provides students with an understanding of the basic and applied aspects of research in the field of crop protection: entomology; plant pathology (bacteria, fungi, nematodes and viruses); chemical and biological control.
2.1 Honours degree in a relevant science subject.
Modules includes: Biology and systematics of insects and mites of economic importance; plant pathogens; experimental design and statistics. Options include: decision tools; agricultural and environmental economics; dissertation.
