The course provides a background knowledge of nanotechnology and associated careers in industrial and academic research.
An Honours degree (minimum 2.1) in a relevant subject.
Modules include: Modelling of nanomaterials; characterisation of nanomaterials; supramolecular chemistry of nanomaterials; optical, electronic and magnetic properties of nanomaterials; nanotubes and nanorods.
Assessment is by a research project.
For UK and EU students: fully funded EPSRC studentships and industrially sponsored studentships.
