Chemical Biology of Health and Diseases
Research areas lie in understanding protein-protein and protein-lipid interactions and in the education of a new generation of scientists in multidisciplinary research in this area; it consists of an interdisciplinary research project, taught courses in advanced cell biology and biochemistry; practical laboratory experience of biomolecular techniques, specialist lectures in transferable skills and group discussion sessions; the research provides physical scientists with the ability to bridge disparate fields and gain the confidence to grapple with biomolecular research in a multidisciplinary environment.
A 2.1 Honours degree in physical sciences.
